It’s been a while since I posted (or wrote) a poem, but tonight I felt inspired… by my dinner!! Comical! It was so beautiful, I decided I had a food crush…And so this funny little poem was born (originally posted on Instagram @mysticmandala):

Food crush, food crush

Flying high

From those veggies

That I spy.

Cabbage, sauerkraut,

Yams & nuts…

Sprouts & broccoli

And seaweed cuts!

Kimchi, turmeric,

Miso, too…

Shining on my plate,

I sing to you!

All this beauty

Helps me grow & thrive…
